The previously untitled game is officially dubbed Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and will hit store shelves during the holiday 2019 season.

What Zampella did tell us is that the game will be set in between Episodes III and IV when the Jedis were being hunted down to extinction.

Respawn showed off its upcoming Star Wars game during EA's Play event today ahead of the 2018 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. So there's no specific release date; but at least we have a name and an idea of what the team could be delivering. Even if it's simply a small teaser, we'll likely see something that fans can latch onto and speculate about until more details are finally revealed. " This puts the game squarely in the period of time covered by shows like Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, as well as movies like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Star Wars Story". After all, an all-out battle between Jedi and Sith characters (again, in first person) would be pretty damn awesome.

"I have been playing Star Wars games my whole life, now I get to make a Star Wars game", Asmussen wrote in a letter online.
