Indeed, EA promises, Origin Access Premier subscribers will get first play of its new games, before everybody else.

Electronic Arts announced Origin Access Premier, a premium subscription tier for its Origin Access service, during the EA Play 2018 press conference. EA Premier Access is slated to launch sometime this summer, and the unnamed streaming service will come at an unnamed later date.

Origin Access Premier will give people access to games in the Vault and other titles on PCs. This'll include its biggest releases, like Battlefield 5, the newly announced Madden 19 on PC and BioWare's Anthem. These links leave Siliconera.

That's a business model we've seen Microsoft have success with when it comes to its Xbox Game Pass service, and EA wants to leverage its roster of properties to do something similar. Battlefield V follows on October 11, while the new social Action-RPG Anthem isn't expected until February 15, 2019. Along with a 10% discount on Origin purchases.

Through Origin Access Premier, users will be able to enjoy full access to new Electronic Arts releases on PC before their official release dates, including Anthem, Battlefield V, Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, and Madden NFL 19.

Last month, EA acquired a cloud-streaming technology from GameFly, and it looks like that will serve as the new backbone for the companies expanded Origin Access efforts.

For that, EA is charging $14.99 per month for EA Origin Access Premier.
