The auto - which is now the smallest model in the Jeep range - is being officially unveiled at the Turin motor show in Italy. Compared to the pre-facelift version, the 2019 Renegade receives a sleeker, more upmarket appearance. The tailgate, along with the rear bumper, have been given a once over too for the mid-cycle update. Now with the official unveil, the SUV looks more stylish than the previous models. The Renegade also gets two additional fog lamps positioned at the lower-end of the bumper, with dedicated clear-lens turn indicators above them.

The 2019 Jeep Renegade features new LED headlights and taillights, but the biggest exterior change for the new model year is the lower front fascia.

Pictures of the interior have yet to be revealed although its highly likely that Jeep was also busy changing up the Renegade's cabin for 2019.

Inside, a larger infotainment screen takes the place of the current 6.5-inch unit, absorbing the buttons and controls previously surrounding it.

This new engine is the same as seen on the 2019 Cherokee and the Wrangler.

Jeep isn't showing the interior of the new model yet but has said to expect more info later this month. Additionally, the crossover will also get a 1.3-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which will be offered in two states of tune, which are 150 bhp and 180 bhp. The growth in the range of petrol engines comes as Jeep plans on ditching diesel in Europe within the next five years.

The main change that one would notice on the Jeep Renegade facelift is the aggressive front profile. Since the Jeep Renegade facelift will launch in the global markets later this year, we believe, it will be launched in India in 2019.
