Liam Payne has confirmed that he will finally release his hotly-anticipated debut solo album in September.

Although we love these two individually, we never thought they would cross paths except at the occasional Jingle Ball, and the former One Direction is making us think that a future duet could actually be a possibility.

Ever since fellow members Harry Styles and Niall Horan released their debut albums past year, fans have been eagerly anticipating Payne's debut release.

The singer - who first found fame at 14, when he appeared on The X Factor - admitted he anxious about carving out a solo career when the boy band went on hiatus in 2015 because he wasn't sure he still wanted to be "famous".

During an interview on KISS FM, the singer, who first found fame when he appeared on The X Factor at just 14 years old, was asked to recall times when he struggled the most.

Asked to recall his hardest emotional battle, Liam - who performed in One Direction alongside Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and previously, Zayn Malik - confessed: 'I've had a few, there have been some tough times'. "When the band started our break (in 2015) I struggled with the idea of becoming famous again, it scared the living daylights out of me", Liam shared, "because the last time it almost killed me, frankly".

"I'm sure there's time for that to come back around", he said, to massive cheers from the crowd.

He added: 'Just hanging out going, "Yeah, I like that one, but this one doesn't really do it for me"'.

God help Cheryl and Liam Payne if they haven't yet baby proofed their digs, as Bear is apparently now on the move. The singer was speaking to the radio station for Mental Health Awareness Week in the United Kingdom. "I like it for calming your state of mind so instead of doing mad cardio where it intensifies it, it calms you down", Cheryl said.

But he also spoke about having a "fantastic life" now. "I've got a good mix of lovely people on my album, which is awesome".
