The result will be available on the official DGE, Tamil Nadu website and official exam results portal for exams in Tamil Nadu.

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations conducted the 12th board exams from March 1 to April 6. In a major step, the Tamil Nadu Board decided not to announce the names of rank holders as the education department believes that this pave to unhealthy competition among students.

Ahead of the results, Tamil Nadu Education Minister Sengottaiyan announced that the pass percentage has come down by one percent this year, from 92.1% to 91.1%.

Among those who passed are 87.7% boys and 94.1% girls. Close to 8.66 lakh students appeared for the state board examination this year. The girls have outperformed boys by securing 94.1%. The result will be online in a short time. Save and print for immediate future.
