Interestingly enough, both those names correlate with a rumour from earlier this month that allegedly leaked the title of a yet-to-be-announced Pokemon title for the Nintendo Switch. the image in question can be viewed below and it roughly translates to Let's Go Pikachu.
Pokemon Go was originally released for iOS and Android back in 2016.
CSC Corporate Domains has registered Pokemon websites for Nintendo before, including the official Pokemon Sun & Moon website domain.
Web domains for two alleged Pokemon games were recently registered, hinting that Nintendo could be revealing the new Pokemon games as soon as this week. Hours after Rogers posted on her blog, an anonymous user from 4chan shared what appears to be a logo for the upcoming game, along with two titles: PokemonLet's GO! How could Switch benefit from Pokémon Go's success, and how could Pokémon Go benefit from Switch's success? However, what's interesting to note here is that they are claiming that this game will actually be a remake of Pokemon Yellow (itself a version of Red and Blue), rather than an entirely brand new game. Currently, on Android alone, the game has been downloaded for more than 100 million times. Linking the console and mobile games was also mentioned, though to what extent remains unknown.
Imagine being able to square off with other players' teams of Pokemon after you've caught them in the wild in Pokemon GO. Nintendo hasn't given any indication that they'll air a Pokemon Direct this week, but that hasn't stopped fans from getting even more excited about the prospect of a new pair of games. It could forsake the traditional trappings of previous games on the Nintendo 3DS for a format not too dissimilar to Pokemon Go. Until then we can only wait and see what Nintendo has in the works for us.
