The rest of the phone is made up of glass with white accents around the fingerprint sensor, camera module, power button and volume controls. The phone is priced at CNY 1299 (USD 204/ INR 13,830) for the 4 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage variant, the 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1499 (USD 236/ INR 15,980), while the 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant would cost you CNY 1699 (USD 266/ INR 18,090). We already have smartphones like the Redmi Note 5 pro, Zenfone Max Pro and now the Realme 1 vying for the top budget smartphone spot.

The phone comes with a 5.80-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2280 pixels. The addition of the Nokia X6 will be a welcome one. The phone is said to be powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, speculated to either be the Snapdragon 636 or MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, coupled with 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM. The onboard storage will be expandable via microSD card. It points out that Nokia X6 is likely to be a China exclusive. There is no information if the smartphone will be coming to India or not.

The dual-SIM Nokia X6 houses a 3,060mAh battery with support for fast charging and also supports Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

So far, the HMD Global has only teased the front panel of the new Nokia X smartphone. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and the company also announced it will be among the first phones to get Android P as well. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia X6 packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The dual-camera setup will be able to take portrait shots, a feature that has become very popular recently.

As promised before, HMD Global has finally unveiled its latest Android smartphone in the form of Nokia X6.
