Villanova and MI are expected to meet in the Gavitt Games in November in a rematch of the national title game won 79-62 by the Wildcats last month. Rutgers will host St. John's on November 16. Start time and television information will be announced at a later date.

Watching Villanova pull off the epic run they did during last year's tournament by winning each game by double-digits, including the championship game against MI. The Nov. 14 matchups include Marquette at IN and Seton Hall at Nebraska as well as the Michigan-Villanova game. The Huskers previously made trips to Villanova (2015) and St. John's (2017). The NCAA Tournament teams are: Creighton, Michigan, Ohio State, Seton Hall, Villanova and Xavier. Junior guard Myles Powell paces the Pirates, as he averaged 15.5 points and 2.8 assists per game to help coach Kevin Willard reach the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year. All games will be televised on FS1 or BTN.

In all, the Huskers bring back their top four scorers, including three double-figure scorers, and rebounders from a year ago.

For just the second time, Ohio State basketball is set to take part in the Gavitt Games.

This will be the third time the Illini have been a featured team in the Gavitt Games, they beat DePaul past year and lost at Providence in 2015.

For the college basketball fans unaware, the Gavitt Games is a series between the Big Ten Conference and Big East Conference to start off a new college basketball season, which kind of worked out ideal for the NCAA. Big Ten schools will participate a minimum of four times during the eight-year event.
