Thanks to Twitch's new stream filters, you're now able to filter PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds streams based on surviving players.

The games official Twitter account posted a quick tweet that shared key highlights of the update, but even that list isn't everything you'll get from PUBG Mobile v0.5.0 starting today. Miramar takes priority as the most important change included in the mobile patch since it means that players have one more map to play on while the start of Season 2 and more were also highlighted in the tweet.

The new update for PUBG Mobile also addresses some lingering issues with the game. All things considered, it sounds like the latest update for PUBG Mobile should nudge it closer to the PC version of the game in terms of content and quality.

If you haven't jumped back into PUBG Mobile in a while, this seems like the flawless time to jump back in. Progress Missions are new too, giving players another opportunity to collect rewards as they complete tasks. Set in a rugged desert with expansive cities ideal for epic battles, Miramar offers players fast-paced combat in the palm of their hands.

- Added Regions: now you can choose your region and flag.

The idea with Missions and assignments is you can earn goodies instead of spending hundreds of dollars on skins like we see in Fortnite.

- Added local quick team feature: enter a 6-digit code to team up with friends that are next to you.

Additionally, a Shop is now available for players to preview and purchase new outfits and items, as well as the Secret Stash where can purchase special discounted items.

- Picture styles now available on all devices.
