Judging by platform support from the first Rage game back in 2011, we predict that Rage 2 will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. First and the foremost thing, RAGE 2 website confirms is that the game is going to be a "True Open World FPS experience" where players will be able to go anywhere, shoot anything and explode everything.

With the announcement came the opening of the game's official website, which offers us more information on what to expect from the sequel to 2010's post-apocalyptic adventure.

There's no clear time frame on when this trailer could drop, but it's likely to be this afternoon, possibly around the same time that the games first trailer dropped around 3pm in the afternoon.

Sorry Switch fans, maybe it's coming in the future, since Bethesda have got right behind Nintendo's console since launch.

If you were disappointed that Monday's Rage 2 reveal didn't feature any glimpses of the game, then I have some good news for you: Tuesday's brought the goods. But the publisher still managed to turn some heads when they announced that Avalanche Studios were the developers alongside id Software. They were responsible for the 2015 game, Mad Max. There's no word on whether id Software will be developing Rage 2 as well, or someone else.

And yesterday the official Rage Twitter account tweeted: "C:DesktopVideosAnnounceTrailerMonday". The design of the world was mostly flat and lacked notable landmarks - especially when compared to Just Cause's vertical landscapes - and some of the gameplay loops, particularly dealing with hostile strongholds, grew tiresome. Bethesda also promises to show more at E3, which is just a few short weeks away. We'll know more tomorrow.
