Larian Studios is working to bring Divinity: Original Sin 2 to consoles.

Any players that are a part of the preview program will get instant access to the first three hours of Divinity: Original Sin 2, which is more than enough time to get into to high-fantasy hijinks. The game also expanded the co-op system to support four players, instead of the original two.

On that note, this confirmation was hardly a surprise since the game was always slated for release on console, both for the PS4 and Xbox One. Thanks to this, those interested can enjoy the first 3 hours of the RPG for free. After those first three hours, players will then be able to choose to unlock the first act, which is around 20 hours, by purchasing the game. Larian Studios will work to improve the console version, prior to its final release in August. The changes and additions in the Definitive Edition are about 45 pages long, and all owners of Divinity: "Original Sin will also benefit from these". Divinity Original Sin 2 was originally released on the PC a year ago, and since then it has taken RPG fans by storm with its open-ended story campaign and fantastic visuals. Divinity: Original Sin II is now available to play on PC, with the console versions being published by Bandai Namco. Those who haven't tried the game and have PC gaming rigs can check it out via Steam and Amazon right now.

"Our hope is that with the feedback we'll collect, Divinity Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition will become one of the best RPG experiences available across the platforms".
