2 seed in this year's tournament, the Gators will have the opportunity to host an NCAA Super Regional should the team prevail out of the Gainesville Regional.

The Texas State Bobcats head out West to the Los Angeles regional where they'll face Cal State Fullerton Friday at 7:30 p.m. CST. The other game is host Alabama (33-18), No. 12-seeded overall, against Middle Tennessee (39-20).

The Big Ten is sending five teams - Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio State, Northwestern and Wisconsin - to the NCAA Tournament.

Per the brackets, the victor of the Alabama regional will face the victor of No. 5 Washington's regional. The team would then face the victor out of the College Station Regional. Nebraska went 1-9 during that stretch, including a first-round loss to Michigan State in the Big Ten Tournament.

OR is the top overall seed in the tournament.

With that, the Wildcats will host the 2018 NCAA Softball Regionals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at John Cropp Stadium.

The eight winners advance to the Women's College World Series, May 31-June 5 or 6 at Oklahoma City.
