Everton fullback Leighton Baines says they can be happy with their battling 1-1 draw at Swansea City. Thus, to keep things comfortable for this side moving down the home stretch of the Premier League season, Jordan Ayew, Tammy Abraham and the home side's attack will be looking to break through and earn more points from this match.

However, Swansea, now with 33 points from as many games, are five points clear of third-bottom Southampton - with five games left of the 2017-18 English top-flight season.

Opta tell us that Everton haven't won here in their last three attempts and though the Toffees did win their last away game - at Stoke- you'd have to go back to mid-December for their previous away win on the road prior to that.

But Ayew saved the day in his first game back after a three match ban to ensure Swansea remain unbeaten when he has hit the back of the net.

Kyle Naughton's first-half own goal looked to have cruelly denied them at least a point after a dominant display against Sam Allardyce's side.

'Since I set foot in this club they put me in the best conditions to express myself in the best way. He asked me where my best position was and everything is OK now. "I'm sure Swansea are saying they should have won it and perhaps they should but our keeper takes some beating".

'We still have a bit of a stress, but six months ago we wouldn't have got a draw in this game.

And the travelling fans rounded on Allardyce both at half-time and when he replaced winger Yannick Bolasie with central defender Ramiro Funes Mori in the final quarter.

There were mixed fortunes in the Everton midfield with Wayne Rooney rightfully being substituted following a poor performance but Morgan Schneiderlin fared far better.
