Neymar reveals when he will return from injury

Neymar says he is around a month away from completing his recovery from a foot injury, with Paris Saint-Germain also confirming his rehabilitation is on track.

He's presently recovering from a fractured metatarsal and sprained ankle sustained in PSG's win over Marseille in February, but according to the former Barcelona man his season isn't over. But the Brazilian recalled a special interaction during his first season at Barca.

The 26-year-old only quit the Nou Camp for a world record switch to PSG last summer, but rumours are rife that Neymar regrets his decision to move to the French capital and is already looking for a new challenge.

"When Neymar gets here, he'll be very eager to play".

In his absence, PSG were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in the last 16 in March.

The Brazil star has been linked with a return to Catalonia, along with potential switches to United and Barca's bitter rivals Real Madrid over the last few months.

"The speed of recuperation over the next ten days will allow the club to set a date for the player's return to training".

"Neymar's close to returning", said Emery.

Although PSG are yet to clinch top spot in Ligue 1, a win against champions Monaco on Sunday would be enough to snatch back the title - and only then will Emery discuss his situation.

Even if he is deemed fit again, it remains to be seen if he will want to take any risk before teaming up with the Brazilian national team to prepare for the World Cup.
