Another parliamentarian, Lal Chand Malhi of the PTI, said there was evidence of a malicious online campaign targeting the Hindu community and desecrating images revered by millions of Pakistani Hindus.

He singled out unemployment as the biggest problem, and said tribal youth who go overseas will be provided job opportunities in the area, calling for special funds to develop FATA.

The PTI chairman also expressed concerns over non-implementation of reforms in Fata, regretting that the government was not merging the tribal areas with KP only because of the opposition by its allies.

He also said the British-era Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) will be abolished by mutual consensus of the tribal people.

Imran Khan said every year Rs 100 billion would be spent on the development of FATA.

Answering a question about the legislators of PML-N from southern belt of Punjab who quit the party recently, he said that he does not support the idea of forming small independent party just days before the elections. He said the it was necessary that there is mutual consultation on the caretaker setup to ensure that the next elections are held free and fair.
