HMD Global has taken over the leadership when it comes to software updates. A user simply needs to follow the below mentioned steps in order to update their Nokia 3 device to Android 8.0 Oreo. In addition, HMD Global has also rolled the Android 8.1 OTA for Nokia 6 of 2018 along with the Nokia 7 Plus devices. The company has now started rolling out Android 8.1 Oreo update for both the handsets. It it is the lastest Android Software from Google and arrives in as build v2.13B for the Nokia 6.1 and the Nokia 7 Plus. Going by the changelog provided by the company, the Android 8.1 Oreo update introduces some new features such as battery saving navigation buttons, revamped power menu, new setting menu, Bluetooth battery percentage, and the latest April Google security patch.
Along with it, the update is also rolling out to the Nokia 6 (2018), which is already up for sale via the Nokia Mobile Shop, and select retail outlets including Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, Croma and Reliance.
Nokia 3 first came with the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Don't panic as soon, in coming days you'll be able to see the update notification popping-up on your device.
