All five of these games will be available to Prime members until March 31.

Unless Free Games with Prime deviates from Twitch's usual delivery method (the company's announcement blogpost was a bit light on details), you'll likely be required to install the Twitch Desktop App in order to access your monthly games. Twitch Prime removes ads from the streaming service, gives the user a free 1-month subscription to a streamer of their choice, and bonus DLC and loot for various popular games. The new initiative kicks off on March 15 and includes five indies, and is a major extension of the recent Indie Amplifier program.

And going into April, Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42 and Dubwars will be sliding into the inbox of those paying for Twitch or Amazon Prime.

The new program, called Free Games With Prime, includes an offering of free games each month that users with Amazon Prime accounts can download.

PS. If you want to check out any of these games in action, ElegyofGames and seriouslyclara will regularly show off the Free Games with Prime through July on their streams Sundays at 6PM PT and Mondays at 8:30PM PT starting on 3/25 and 3/26 respectively. All eight titles featured in the Indie Amplifier poll, which was originally only planned to deliver the top three games for free, will be included in either March and April.

It's been more than a year since Amazon first tapped into Twitch's customer base with perks to improve their experience.

Free Games With Prime seems to be a similar scheme to Sony's PlayStation Plus and Games With Gold from Xbox.
