It's unclear why Rousey was not a part of Raw, but the answer could simply be that WWE didn't have a way to advance her storyline, or there were scheduling conflicts. While many fans questioned the fact that Ronda was not at the event, and started to compare her on social media to a part-time start like Lesnar, there was a legitimate reason why Rousey was not at the show.

"No one demanded a written resignation from me for judo and I don't really think the same thing is necessary for fighting".

"WWE, I describe it as a live TV show about a wrestling tournament where everyone does their own stunts", Rousey said.

Ronda Rousey recently signed her WWE contract at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and shortly after it was announced that Rousey would be appearing at every episode of Monday Night Raw leading up to WrestleMania 34, but Rousey didn't appear on this week's episode.

"It's not fake fighting, it's scripted". Instead, viewers were treated to a hype package showcasing her WWE journey since the Royal Rumble.

"I can't think of the last time I was so excited for anything, [where] I'm like really looking forward to it", Rousey said.

Rousey suffered back-to-back knockout losses in her last two fights with the UFC and Dana White has said repeatedly that he didn't expect her to ever return again.

Rousey's appearance on "Ellen" ended all hope of an imminent return to the UFC. Let us know in the comments. Kurt's then asked Roman Reigns, who is the No 1 contenders for Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal title to come out in the ring.
