Speaking on the disciplinary action by the TS Assembly, Telangana BJP President, MLA Kishan Reddy said, 'I support the disciplinary actions on Congress MLAs. It missed the governor and hit Goud on his face, causing bleeding just below his right eye.

The Congress members tore the copies of the Governor's address and threw them on the floor of the House but nothing what they were saying could be heard in the din. Goud, who was sitting beside Narasimhan, was struck on his right eye and was immediately rushed to Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital for a full checkup and possible treatment. "This is totally uncalled for by the opposition members".

The Assembly then passed a suspension motion moved by minister Harish Rao against the Congress MLAs. They came to the House pre-planned to create disturbances.

The Telangana State Legislative Assembly on Tuesday resolved to expel two Congress legislators - Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and A Sampath - from the House besides suspending 11 Congress members for the entire Budget session of the State Legislature.

TRS chief whip in the legislative council, P Rajeshwar Reddy alleged that the Congress MLAs came to the assembly in "inebriated condition" with a "malicious intention to attack the ruling party members".

Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan has said that the state government is striving hard to achieve "Bangaru Telangana" by taking up developmental and welfare programmes. He said that he was angry because all the Congress wanted was to protest peacefully and democratically, but the ruling party posted hundreds of marshals. Goud said that during the Governor's address itself broken head phones were thrown which fell near the Governor without hitting (anyone). The government is also contemplating criminal action against Reddy. He claimed that the state had become a role model for the other states in terms of development.
