Heads up, developers: Apple just announced that its 2018 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 4 through June 8.

That's because it's invariably our first, official glimpse of what's in store for the software those devices will each run. The developer conference is schedule for June 4th through 8th, and like past year, it will take place in San Jose's McEnery Convention Center.

Apple is expected to announce iOS 12 and the next version of macOS at WWDC.

This is the second year that Apple will host WWDC at the McEnery Convention Center.

As with previous years, Apple is relying on a lottery system to address demand for tickets. Registration is open until Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

The opportunity to buy tickets to WWDC18 is offered by random selection. The regular price for attendees is $1,599, and Apple will notify those lucky enough to be selected for one by March 23 at 5pm PT. Developers and Apple enthusiasts everywhere can live-stream the conference on the WWDC app for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV as well as through the Apple Developer website.
