After a break, Faith Hill came to the front of the stage with the couple's band (it was a co-headlining date) and explained that her husband was dehydrated. "And I apologize, but I made the decision that he could not come back out onstage".

The 50-year-old country music crooner just finished singing his No. 1 hit "Humble and Kind" when he suddenly dropped to his knees and then sat down, Rolling Stone reports.

The audience applauded her announcement and broke into a chant of "Get well, Tim".

The performer was here as part of the Country to Country festival now underway.

A spokesman for Tim confirmed to Cox Media Group's National Content Desk that he was suffering from dehydration.

The "It's Your Love" hitmaker had been performing as part of the Country to Country (C2C) music festival in the United Kingdom, a three day event which saw him play London on Friday, Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday and Dublin on Sunday.

A representative for the star issued a statement saying McGraw was attended to by medical staff on site and would be fine. Hill, Little Big Town and Kacey Musgraves were among performers at the Glasgow concert. McGraw tweeted. "Walmart, Kroger, and L.L. Bean, too".

Recently, McGraw made headlines as being one of the few mainstream country artists to speak up in support of gun control.

Tim and Faith have been married since 1996 and share three daughters.
