The band had planned to reissue it this month in honor of that milestone, but put the project on hold after O'Riordan's death.

While at this stage, the group haven't released too many details, fans can definitely rest easy knowing that there's still more music coming from the Irish rockers, despite recent events.

The robust treatment by the U.S. metal band has put The Cranberries classic track at Number One on the Metal Charts in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland. She was found dead in her London hotel room on the morning the studio session had been booked.

The tragic singer recorded tracks with guitarist Noel Hogan for what would have been the band's first album in six years last year (17) and they had planned to release the project in 2018.

The Cranberries said that they also would move forward with a 25th anniversary reissue this year of their debut album, "Everyone Else is Doing it, So Why Can't We?", after putting work on hold following O'Riordan's death.

They added: "We will also be completing the recording of a new studio album as previously announced, which we also started past year and for which Dolores had already recorded the vocals". She was just 46-years old. Authorities reported at the time that the death was not suspicious.

They started to work on it previous year with plans of releasing it this month, to mark the actual 25th anniversary but they put the whole project on hold after O'Riordan passed away. They also announced that a new album with new material will be out in the near future. To honor her memory, the band chose to release their rendition and offer part of the proceeds to O'Riordan's children.

The post says: "This month marks the 25th anniversary of the release of our debut album "Everybody Else is doing it so why can't we".
