After hearing about 10-year-old Sophia Richards' aspirations, Prince Harry directed her to his fiancée in an instant, and of course, Meghan was only too happy to offer advice as well as a warm hug.

Queen Elizabeth looked equally fab in an all-burgundy ensemble, consisting of a jacket and hat paired with her signature black shoes, black gloves and a matching handbag.

Since the engagement was announced last November, there has been huge media attention on the couple, with Harry, the fifth-in-line to the throne, one of the most popular members of the British royal family and Markle an actress known for her role in US TV drama Suits. The bride-to-be was previously invited to spend Christmas with the family, and even attended their Christmas Day service. Liam Payne, meanwhile, gave a performance at the celebratory event.

We can only imagine how many royal loyalists will be celebrating the union of Prince Harry and Meghan, toasting to them with their speciality beer in hand, and it's going to be glorious.

Her father, Thomas Markle, is also said to be unhappy with Prince Harry's comments about the royals being like the "family she never had".

The theme for this year's service is Towards a Common Future, emphasising how the Commonwealth can address global challenges and work to create a better future for all citizens through the sub-themes of sustainability, safety, prosperity and fairness.

The Queen became head of the Commonwealth at the age of 26.

The prince said they looked forward to travelling around the Commonwealth, meeting some of the 2.4 billion people from the 53 member states.

Next month, Commonwealth will be kicking off it's Commonwealth Games on Australia's Gold Coast, beginning April 4.

After almost 70 years of producing royal merchandise, British luxury gift manufacturer Halcyon Days is hoping the upcoming wedding of Prince Harry and his American fiancee Meghan Markle will be a happy one for them as well as the bride and groom.
