While both Saif and Kareena stayed strong all through the controversy, not many know that Saif had nearly given in to the massive pressure and was ready to change Taimur's name to "Faiz".

Kareena Kapoor thinks that nepotism doesn't exist in Bollywood. Not only did she embark her journey in Indian cinema at the age of 17 but is also one of the most successful stars kids of all time.

"There are so many superstars from yesteryears and not all of their children are a superstar".

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan said in an official statement, "It's an honour to return to India Today Conclave and I am very excited as I will be sharing the stage with one of my inspirations, my sister Karisma Kapoor. If nepotism exists, they would have been a big star by now", she said. But Kareena refused to let the public pressure get the better of them - "Saif was ready to change his name to Faiz but I was not going to succumb to public pressure; my son is Taimur, and will grow up to be, like his name, an Iron Man one day".

Kareena was of the opinion that it's hard for children of stars to live up to the name of their legacy.

Their mother Babita and actor Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu's career took a back seat from films after they entered the Kapoor family. "It beats in this gorgeous looking boy that I sleep next to every night and everything is in his two tiny little hands", Kareena said.

The actor, however, added, "I think he is getting used to it because, off late, if I compare his pictures, he has started posing".

Karisma said it was tough for her sister to cope with the controversy over Taimur's name barely after the arrival of the newborn. "My father (Randhir Kapoor) has been very supportive. He opened the door and told us to fly", she added. She had starred in blockbuster hits such as Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Raja Hindustani and critically acclaimed films like Fiza and Zubeidaa.
