The Tennessee Volunteers and Arkansas Razorbacks meet Saturday in the college basketball SEC Tournament semifinals at the Scottrade Center.

On offense, junior guard Jalen Hudson has stepped up of late, averaging 22.7 points over his last three games.

"I shoot every day but I guess that was like a HORSE shot", Barford said. We had a good flow going, we were really getting after it on the defensive end.

Instead, the Gators will get some more rest and have plenty to focus on in practice in that time before trying to rev things back up next week with no remaining margin for error. It was the opposite.

"They came in, and they played with a lot of energy", Macon said. They will wait to hear their name called on Selection Sunday to see where they'll be shipped off to in the NCAA Tournament. The loss snapped UF's three-game win streak and an eight-game win streak against the Razorbacks that dated back to 2013. "We've just got to execute and get multiple stops and stay together". "We've got a great chance at doing that". Should Arkansas defeat Florida, the Hogs would play the victor of Tennessee-Mississippi State game at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The shot clock was about to expire when Barford hit a three-pointer from about 26 feet to make it 64-59.

Macon finished with 12 points and four assists. Booker drained one of two to give the Gamecocks a four-point advantage. The two teams traded baskets for the first couple of minutes before Arkansas ran off a 7-0 run to take its largest lead at that point at five.

The Rebels fell behind early to SC in the first-half of the game, but in the closing minutes, Ole Miss charged back to make it a 38-36 game at halftime behind the play of Breein Tyree. Made that big shot when the shot clock was running down.

With a minute to play in the first half and Arkansas at the foul line, Martin earned the technical foul he'd been working on with the officials, swinging a five-point game into eight with the Hogs' free throws just before halftime. The Wildcats have had an up-and-down season with their young roster, but they had won four straight prior to a loss to Florida.

Razorbacks freshman forward Daniel Gafford had 8 points, 4 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Gafford put an exclamation point on the win with a windmill dunk with 15 seconds left.

The Razorbacks outscored SC 11-4 to open the second half - including dunks by Gafford and Bailey and Barford's three-point play on a driving basket and free throw - to take a 47-32 lead with 16:18 left. Chris Chiozza added 16 and KeVaughn Allen netted 11 points. Totals 25-60 9-14 72.

Up next, the Hogs will have a quick turnaround with a tip against No. 2 Tennessee (23-7, 13-5 SEC) at approximately 2:30 p.m. (CST).

Barford and Macon, both junior-college transfers, are 0-3 against Florida, including the Gators' 88-73 victory earlier this season at the O'Connell Center.
