So there are expectations that the film could enter 800 crores club soon. Also, Secret Superstar collected Rs. 175 crore over the three-day weekend and by the fourth day of the release it had crossed Rs. 200-crore mark. But it is still far behind Aamir's movies.

Bollywood film Bajrangi Bhaijaaan, starring Salman Khan, which is now one-week-old in China retained its 5th spot despite Hollywood's Black Panther pouncing to box office glory staring Friday.

Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan released with the title "Little Lolita Monkey God Uncle" in China across 8,000 screens. It also became the fifth highest worldwide earners in Indian cinema behind Dangal - Rs 2,122.3 crore (USD330 million), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - Rs 1,710.66 crore (USD260 million), Secret Superstar - Rs 965 crore (USD 150 million) and PK - Rs 854 crore (USD 140 million).

"Film and trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Saturday took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the latest figures of the film and wrote, "#BlackPanther opens with a BIG BANG in China, grabbing a big chunk of the market share...

The movie completed its first week run on Thursday with a modest gross of $18.04 million (Rs 117.5 crore), fueled by a striking upsurge of 110 per cent Wednesday-to-Thursday growth.

Surely, the screen count is a huge factor for the long list of Indian films that have broken ground in the neighbouring country. The film's lifetime India business is Rs 320 crore. China has nearly quadrupled its screen count in the last few years, from around 10,000.

Many Indian films have been released in China and have tasted success.
