Hope all of you Nintendo fans saw something to get your hype fires stoke for the future of the Switch and its lil' buddy, the 3DS.

The big surprise to close out January's Nintendo Direct Mini presentation was a Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered. From their first timid steps to absolute mastery, players will build their characters by strategically adapting to daunting foes, exploring haunting locations, and amassing a large collection of weapons, armor, and magic spells to wield for a truly unique playstyle. Up to six players can join together online to help, or hurt, each other throughout their quest.

A network test will also be available sometime before the May 25, launch, so if you're anxious about performance issues or your skill, you can check it out and make a call.

Additionally, the Nintendo Direct brought word that a network test beta will be coming sometime before launch. If you use it, it lets you perform the Praise the Sun emote. The Amiibo will cost $15.99.

The Solaire of Astora amiibo launches on May 25 alongside Dark Souls Remastered on Nintendo Switch.
