Bennett had been with the Patriots in 2016, helping the team win a Super Bowl, before signing with the Packers as a free agent.

Bennett is coming off a season in which he was hampered by a shoulder injury and finished with just 286 yards and no touchdowns.
Last month, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport said Bennett hoped to return to the NFL next season.
That came after he posted a story on Instagram saying he was pondering retirement. "To everyone that has poured themselves and time into my life and career". He joined New England in November of last season after being released by Green Bay for "failing to disclose a physical condition". He was also due to count for more than $6 million against the salary cap. The Patriots now have Gronkowski, Dwayne Allen, and Jacob Hollister on the tight end depth chart.
