The Baudelaire children get the spotlight in the new season 2 trailer for A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Netflix adaptation of the satirical Gothic children's book series. But Violet, Klaus, and Sunny barely have time to dig deeper before they're on the run again from their greedy, sociopathic uncle, Count Olaf.

It is clear from the new trailer that the villainous Count Olaf, played by Neil Patrick Harris, is still on his never-ending quest to get his hands on the Baudelaire orphans' inheritance and make their lives as miserable as possible. Unfortunately for the children, they're still surrounded by ignorant adults who are supposed to be taking care of them, including K. Todd Freeman's gullible banker Mr. Poe. Now, after nearly a year, Netflix has released the trailer for the second season. You can spot several new characters, the new locations the Baudelaires will be heading to, and how Season 2 will further dig into the mystery of VFD.

This is technically the first full trailer for the rapidly-approaching return of A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Season 2 of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is set to arrive on Netflix on March 30th and sees the return of cast members Neil Patrick Harris, Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, Presley Smith, alongside newcomers Kitana Turnbull, Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale, Lucy Punch, Sara Rue, and Roger Bart.

Based on the bestselling books, the darkly comedic Netflix series centers on Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and Sunny (Presley Smith), whose parents died in a bad fire.
