With the victor playing Kansas, an Oklahoma State victory would give the Cowboys a chance to go 3-0 this season against the Jayhawks. As a team, Oklahoma State is scoring 76.9 points per game on 44% shooting from the field, 34.7% from behind the arc and 76.1% from the foul line this season. Most notably, Graham's assists have nearly doubled from last season as he is averaging 7.2 assists per game compared to 4.1 assists per game in 2016.

The Oklahoma State Sooners got their hands on the #8 seed after edging out the Sooners with an 8-10 conference mark of their own with the difference being a 2-0 record against top-seeded Kansas in the tiebreaker. The victor will move on to play Kansas in the quarterfinal round of the Big 12 Tournament on Thursday.

Oklahoma defeated Oklahoma State by 20 points earlier in the season in Norman, but the Sooners lost by two points in overtime in Stillwater. Kansas is seeking a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, while Texas Tech is seeking a title.

That puts them in that pack of four teams, all 8-10 in the league and with 18 wins overall, that are trying to solidify their NCAA Tournament hopes ahead of Selection Sunday.

Oklahoma State figures to have an edge on the offensive glass in this meeting.

When the non-conference ended with all the teams having at the very most two losses, it previewed what was going to be an entertaining season in the Big 12 conference.

"I'm not a second-place guy", Red Raiders coach Chris Beard said. "Even Iowa State, if they don't have the injuries at the end of the year, they might have another win or two in their arsenal", Kansas State coach Bruce Weber said. Winning the Big 12 Tournament is a nice goal. But there's a decent chance only one team from the Sooner state will make the NCAA Tournament - and it could be decided on Wednesday night.
