Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, the smartphone that has been confirmed by Xiaomi but yet to see the light of the day, is once again in the news as some of its features have been unearthed by XDA Developers. Recently, the company teased that the upcoming smartphone will flaunt superior AI integration across the board, including optics. About the cost of the device is not reported, but probably Xiaomi Mi 2S MIX will be the most expensive mobile device in the history of the brand.
The XiaomiMi MIX 2S will have an 18:9 aspect ratio, so it can be said that it will have a display resolution of 2160 x 1080. Xiaomi will be taking wraps off the new device in Shanghai, China as per the image.
The teaser also carries an image which shows slim bezels at its top, left and right sides of Mi Mix 2S. However, the Mi MIX 2S will be launched before the Mi Max 3. The live images doesn't reveal much about the handset, but apart from the placement details of the dual cameras, what it also shows is the center placed fingerprint sensor. The smartphone appears in polished black colour proudly flaunting the dual rear camera set up.
Xiaomi is now preparing for the launch of their upcoming premium smartphone, XiaomiMi Mix 2s. It is, hence, assumed the Mi Mix 2S would follow the same design language as its predecessor Mi Mix 2.
However, we have come across some renders of alleged Mi Mix 2S, in which the selfie camera is positioned at the top right of the smartphone. A circular fingerprint scanner is also placed on the centre of the rear panel.
Furthermore, the Mi Mix 2s would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 Chipset which is the latest Chipset by the makers designed for the premium Android smartphones only. We will get more clarity on specifications and other features closer to the launch date.
