With this addition of service to the Nashville International Airport (BNA), Allegiant now has nonstop service to forty-one cities from the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD).

According to an Allegiant Airlines news release, the three routes will bring about 20,000 people to the area each year.

Lauderdale Hollywood Airport will be offered year-round with one-way fares beginning at $76, if purchased by Thursday, March 8.

"We're very excited to grow again in Savannah", said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. "We're certain that Nashville travelers will welcome our brand of friendly, ultra-low-cost, nonstop service to some of their favorite getaway destinations".

The new flights will bring almost 20,000 additional visitors to the area.

"We appreciate Allegiant giving us the opportunity to show that this route, our tenth with Allegiant, will be successful".

Savannah, Georgia / Hilton Head, South Carolina via Savannah Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) - begins June 8, 2018 with fares as low as $45.

In February, low-priced carrier Frontier Airlines announced it would start offering seasonal nonstop flights from Savannah to Denver and Philadelphia.
