Richard Warry Brown, 39, was holding his daughter when the fight started at Crossroads Pizza and Wings in Pine about 10:10 p.m. on January 25, the sheriff's office said.

Police in Colorado are searching for two men who beat up a man while he was holding his 4-year-old daughter. After that, the men continue beating Brown-kicking him and kneeing him in the face in addition to the punches. Another person took the child, and the fight continued.

The video shows Brown being punched in the face several times before the girl was taken out of his arms by a bystander.

After the incident, Brown was transported to Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver with serious bodily injuries, and Porter staff called in a Flight-for-Life helicopter to transport Brown to St. Anthony Hospital, Techmeyer clarified.

Brown's family said they were at the restaurant eating dinner when the fight happened and that Brown didn't have a chance to put down his daughter.

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies want to find a man who fought another man who was holding a child.

It's not known what charges the other suspects face for the assault.

Deputies have identified one suspect as Joel Michael Wilson, 31, of Evergreen.

Brown, the girl's father, was issued a misdemeanor summons for child abuse, the sheriff's office said. He is described as a white man who is 5-foot-8, thin and in his mid-20s, the sheriff's office said.
