His homeboy comes in, whispers in his ear, and he just runs off the set.

Last summer, Kyrie Irving was the main focus of what turned out to be the blockbuster trade of the offseason, as after the point guard had handed in a trade request to the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was traded to their Eastern Conference rivals in the Boston Celtics.

"You watching "SportsCenter" like you always do like, 'man, he want to leave Cleveland?' You see him the next day but you don't say nothing because you don't know him like that", he said. Whether or not Irving gets another championship without James is the biggest question going forward, but in the meantime, I think this admission from Howery proves we won't be able to question his contentment any longer. He was telling me everything. We're filming! He just runs out. He comes back and everybody was applauding. We were in the club shooting a scene. And it was a dancing scene. "He was really happy".

But second, and more importantly, this scene shows just how much getting this trade done meant to Irving and his career.

If the Bulls have any pride, which you could dispute after what was a 48-minute annihilation at the hands of the Celtics, they're probably thrilled that the C's scratched Kyrie Irving (soreness in his left knee) from Monday's 105-89 final.

Irving wanted a new scene, one where he could be the true point guard and decision-maker of a playoff team. "With Bobby and Lauri out there, we're gonna be small, so we have to gang rebound, especially against a team with athletic wings (such as Boston)". The Celtics, 44-20, are now sitting in second in the Eastern Conference, just two games back of the Toronto Raptors, and seven games up on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Al Horford, heavily criticized after a disappointing effort in a loss to the Rockets last Saturday, dominated Markkanen in their head-to-head, and finished the night with 13 points, seven rebounds, and a game-high plus-31 in 22 minutes of action.

His movie, "Uncle Drew", is scheduled to be released in June.
