Who's going to be the next to leave? The POTUS was speaking in front of a crowd of politicians, other Washington insiders and reporters at that time.

With the sudden, and may say devastating resignation of White House communications director Hope Hicks, the crosshairs now focus on presidential daughter Ivanka Trump and her discredited husband Jared Kushner, who may be leaving Washington to return to NY in disgrace.

"That is bad honey, but you love me, right?" he reportedly said as he turned to Melania.

White House aides say Trump spends evening alone in the residential section of the White House, seething with anger over media coverage of his failures and worsening situation.

Since Donald Trump took office, there have been a lot of fluctuations when it comes to who's actually working in the White House.

The poll came after reports that claimed the first couple have an icy relationship.

The annual dinner is attended by journalists and usually includes some jokes and laughter.

Trump lashed out at the "fake news narrative" that his administration is more often than not embroiled in controversy following a week in which he offered often contradictory positions on major issues, argued in favor of a trade war and his West Wing staff turnover rate continued to climb.

And last week, Jared Kushner, his son-in-law and a top White House adviser, had his security clearance downgraded, severely limiting his access to classified material. Trump has told close associates that he thinks Ivanka and her husband "would be better off" is they returned to NY.

"So many people have been leaving the White House". He went on to call eldest daughter's husband a "great guy".
