We're not going to argue much because the Range coupe is truly seductive - even though this limited-edition two-door Range Rover is certainly not very affordable - at £240,000 in the UK.

Created by Jaguar Land Rover's in-house Special Vehicle Operations team, this auto will be limited in production to 999 examples, and pretty much all of them have been spoken for, with something like 15 percent destined for our Middle East region.

The exclusive Rangie will be made by the British manufacturer's special operations team with just 999 being produced. Performance is top of the line, with the 565 PS / 700 Nm 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol powertrain getting the SV Coupe to 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds and then to a maximum speed of 165 miles per hour (266 kph).

Fuel economy is rated at 19.2mpg with emissions of 341g/km.

SV Coupe customers can choose from four front-to-rear contrast interior colourways, or a range of single-tone interior colours. Since it's all about customization, paint choices are numerous: Eight satin or gloss colors, one with a "liquid metal" finish, four two-tone options and sixteen additional choices from the fancy-sounding SV Premium Palette.

Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's chief design officer, said: "The Range Rover SV Coupe is a celebration of the Range Rover bloodline". With a dramatic two-door silhouette, this breath-taking four seat coupé alludes to its unique heritage while being thoroughly modern and contemporary. "The Range Rover SV Coupé delivers the most distinguished, luxurious and exclusive Range Rover ever built". The two-door coupe will be priced at $295,000 in the U.S. There's also a fancy two-piece grille, handcrafted badges and real metal side vents.

Pixel-laser LED headlights with 144 LEDs and four laser diodes provide five times higher luminance than standard LED lights on Laser Supplementary High Beam - offering a range of more than 500 metres. The Terrain Response System offers a number of off-road modes, and the SV Coupe comes with an Active Locking Rear Diff. The production run is limited to 999 cars, with each example costing an eye-watering £240,000 - almost triple the price of the standard Range Rover. Elsewhere, the standard Range Rover's three-slat design on the front doors' leading edge has been replaced with mesh trim on the front panel's trailing edge.
