It is being reported that approximately 16 issues are resolved in the March security patch and issues which are resolved ranges from high to critical in terms of vulnerabilities. And, sticking to its monthly routine, Google has released the Android security patch for the month of March as well.

Google started rolling out the March security update for Pixel and Nexus devices.

Another month is just starting, and that means it's time for the latest round of Pixel and nexus patches to roll out.

Well starting today users of Android devices can Lens in Google Photos. The improvements from the functional updates include improved screen wake performance while using the fingerprint scanner, improved audio performance when recording video and improved crash reporting. You can learn more about the fixes in the Android security bulletin and the Pixel/Nexus security bulletin. Google has posted both the OTA's and the factory images for the selected Nexus or Pixel devices. OTA files do not require an unlocked bootloader and do not delete your data.

The March 5, 2018 security patch is available for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. There aren't files for the Pixel C yet. That can take its time, since Google goes with staged rollouts for software releases, but it allows the search giant to stop the update if a serious issue pops up.
