The next disturbance will bring more in the way of clouds along with showers and drizzle Tuesday with a slight chance for a wintry mix.

Enjoy a gorgeous day on Saturday with high temps into the lower and middle 60s for all of the viewing area. We'll see some peaks of sunshine throughout your Monday as highs look to get into the low-70s.

If you haven't begun your spring/summer garden action plans, you may want to postpone a little longer since we still have some time before we can say goodbye to chilly weather for the season.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will all be nice, but temperatures will drop-off significantly, as highs on Wednesday and Thursday will reach the low to mid 60°s and the upper 60°s to near 70° on Friday. Temperatures will crash through the 30s with rain and snow showers arriving. However, temperatures may only warm to the upper 40s Tuesday in the Triangle. Wednesday and Thursday there are chances for scattered light snow showers with some lake effect possible.

It now appears likely that we will see rain and thunderstorms around next weekend. Rain chances will pick back up into the weekend with model guidance suggesting much of the weekend should be on the wetter side. Don't close the door on Winter just yet. There is a small chance for another system, but we will have to watch if that moves south of us or not.
