Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4 in India recently, entering the country's huge television and entertainment market.
Xiaomi has launched another variant of its popular Mi TV 4A series of Smart LED TV. On the hardware side, the TV runs on a 1.5 GHz quad-core Amlogic L962-H8X Cortex-A53 processor paired with 750MHz Mali-450 MP3 GPU.
Before the launch, the 43-inch Mi TV 4C has been found listed on the company's India website, priced at Rs. 27,999. The Mi TV 4A 40-inch can mirror screens from smartphones, tablets, and notebooks through AirPlay and Miracast. The new TV is claimed to have a "blue light-reducing mode" and also supports HDR 10 and HLG. Xiaomi could announce the Mi TV 4A series, which was launched in China in March previous year.

You might think these TVs would have great appeal given their asking price, but Xiaomi doesn't want you getting too comfortable with its online store. The Mi TV 4C is equipped with a full HD display, 1GB RAM, 8GB of storage, a quad-core Amlogic T962 64-bit processor, and comes with support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz dual-band Wi-Fi), Bluetooth 4.2, Dolby, and DTS Audio. However, the TVs got listed on Xiaomi India's website which has spilt the bean. The TV comes with a custom-built Samsung 4K SVA (Superior Vertical Alignment) display panel with 4K HDR display of 3840x2160 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 60hz. Connectivity suite of the new TV consists of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 + LE, USB (2), HDMI (2), AV (1), analogue signal DTMB (1), and Ethernet. Rs. 11,300) and is ready to grab the eyeballs of Indian audience. The listing that leaked ahead of the launch pegged the Mi TV 4C at Rs 27,000. Curiously, the same TV was reportedly launched in China sometime back for around Rs 19,000. It had also unveiled its cheaper, 32-inch and 50-inch TVs a few months ago.
The Mi TV 4A 40-inch model, which was launched in China today, reportedly is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 17,400). 20,000 even more likely.
