The Seahawks may be looking to move on from three-time Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Bennett. We went 9-7 and you would have thought we won two games.

After five productive seasons in Seattle - Michael Bennett might be on his way out and wearing the jersey of a new team come next season. "That's how we built this thing, and that's how we are going to build it". "We love it in Seattle, and we've create a high standard there".

Which leads us to three questions - what could Seattle get for Thomas, who might be interested, and where would this trade rank in Seahawks' history?

The Seahawks did this on a more limited basis last offseason, very publicly floating Sherman as a potential trade target.

Intriguingly, Schneider then said that the team's precedent of desiring to lock up core players before they reach the final year of their contracts didn't apply in this case since it would be Thomas' third contract with the team and not his second.

The Seahawks could save $11 million by trading or releasing him before next season. "But no, we love we're were at and we're jacked about what's going on". "Those guys who are...they are good football players". And it's like this constant puzzle, I know you guys probably get exhausted of hearing that.

Bennett had 8.5 sacks for the Seahawks in 2017 and has three years left on the deal he signed in 2016.

But since Schneider said they have no plans to place a franchise tag on Richardson (one year salary cost: $14 million), he will be an unrestricted free agent likely to draw interest from several teams. And it's a huge passion for us, and the Seattle area and the Northwest has really embraced everything that we want to do. "We love where we're at, and jacked about what's going on".

"I understood what was going on - it's natural (speculation), what happens at the end of every year", he said.

Bevell has yet to land a new job, but Cable quickly found work with the Raiders and Richard with the Cowboys.

"I was really impressed with his overall command, his ability to see things from different perspectives, which will be really exciting for us, and I think in (Russell Wilson's) development". "Just seems like it's a young man's game".
