The special visa paved the way for Melania's parents to move to the USA via "chain migration", a practice which President Trump now aims to end.

According to a Washington Post article, Trump received an EB-1 visa in 2001.

U.S. first lady Melania Trump arrives to host a luncheon with governors' spouses at the White House in Washington, U.S., February 26, 2018. Since Melania met Donald Trump in 1998, famously being photographed nude on Trump's private jet for a 2000 issue of British GQ, reporters are questioning Trump's involvement in Melania's successful EB-1 visa application.

According to government statistics, only 3,376 of the more than 1 million green cards issued in 2001 were for immigrants who had "extraordinary ability".

"CHAIN MIGRATION must end now!"

Trump attorney Michael Wildes told the Post that the first lady was "more than amply qualified and solidly eligible" for the EB-1 program but declined to elaborate on those qualifications.

Highlighting his tweet with clown and poop emojis, Rose went on to say, "Some alleged former hooker who got in on some "trumped up" immigration con somehow deserves privacy cuz it 'means so much to her?' Fuck this clown!"

Another immigration expert, Sarah Pierce of the Migration Policy Institute, said to meet the "extraordinary ability" category of the EB-1, it is "generally thought that only the top 2 percent in their field would qualify", such as those who won the Nobel Prize, the newspaper reported.

The biggest one: how did she convince immigration authorities that she qualified for the EB-1 programme? Former congressman Bruce Morrison hinted at the prestige of the award.

"What did she submit?" asked David Leopold, an immigration lawyer and a past president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In the last few days, there have been a number of questions about the type of visa Melania Trump acquired to come to the United States. "There are a lot of questions about how she procured entry into the United States".

Ms Trump worked as a model in runway shows and magazines before her marriage, but she never reached "supermodel" status in the competitive fashion industry.
