He's managed to net 12 goals in the Premier League this season with recent strikes coming against Huddersfield and Stoke, while he's notched at the Terriers as well as against lower league sides Yeovil and Derby in the FA Cup.

But six games on there are suddenly question marks relating to every one of the players Sanchez was meant to take the pressure away from. According to reports from the Metro and RMC, the 22-year-old and his agent have met with Manchester United in December of 2017, but with no response from the club.

"Mentally he's strong and I'm sure he will continue to score goals".

"Of course, in the Premier League, it is hard to win every game, but I think step by step we have improved and in the future I believe, as a team, we can do big things together".

Another player setting into life at Old Trafford is Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez has scored just once in six games, since his high-profile deadline-day transfer from Arsenal, which saw playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan move in the opposite direction.

"That may allow Marcus Rashford to come back into the team", said the ex-United player. I'm sure we can do something this season and in the future for sure. "I am happy he is a team-mate".

United, who drew 0-0 with Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday, face Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes his former club got the "right result" against Sevilla in the Champions League knockout stages.

"That for me is the ultimate where you start to see patterns developing and combinations and relationships between players".

"We are all excited because these are games we all like to play".

Scholes though is one of the few pundits who thinks the result wasn't ideal but that it was still good enough and expects his former team to still go through to the next round.

When you play counter-attacking football, the ball has got to stick.

"I still think a new centre forward is needed".

"I expect an open game because we want to win, they want to win for sure and it will be very interesting for the supporters".
