Lawrence never returned to school to finish her studies or pick up a diploma, but she insists she'll never look back. Late past year, she said it was something that she was still processing, however, she told "60 Minutes" correspondent Bill Whitaker that she ended up feeling "empowered" doing the nude scene in the movie.

In the film, Jennifer plays Dominika Egorova, a ballerina who is recruited to "Sparrow School", a Russian intelligence service where she is forced to use her body as a weapon. "And when I'm reading this script, and I feel like I know exactly what it would look like if somebody felt that way".

"No. I really don't [regret it] I wanted to forge my own path. And if I want to be cold THAT'S MY CHOICE TOO!"

In fact, Lawrence adds that she even prioritized her work over friends for a good chunk of her career.

In an exclusive interview with ET, Lawrence was a little more lighthearted about her nude scene and quipped that it made the movie crew a little uneasy.

When asked if she regretted her decision, Lawrence said, "No. So that became a reality, but it actually wasn't that bad", she recalled. "I'm waiting, because I won't get older", Lawrence, 27, promised. Two years later, she would land her breakthrough role in the 2010 film "Winter's Bone" and earn her first Oscar nomination at the age of 20.

"Get a grip people" wrote the American actress Jennifer Lawrence shutting up all that "sexist" critics who raised brows on her winter dressing freezing sense in the huge cold of London.

Looking at new photos of Jennifer Lawrence at a cast photo call Tuesday for Red Sparrow makes that abundantly clear.

The episode will air on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

She tells Whitaker the one thing between her and the new role was the nudity it required.
