As part of the global release, the game will now feature dual audio with both English and Japanese voices.

The developer has announced today that Pit People will officially leave Early Access on Steam and Game Preview on Xbox One, and go to full release starting on March 2. While the game is coming to Japan for PS4 only, in the west it's getting three more platforms, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Shining Resonance: Refrain features the B.A.N.D. system, allowing your team to jam out once you've accrued enough battle performance mana, or BPM. It'll be the first time a game of the series gets an English localization in a decade. It also features a "Refrain Mode", which unlocks the Imperial Princess Excella and Dragonslayer Jinas as party members. Depending on the bonds of the characters, "Resonance" may occur between them, providing a new level of support, leading to victory.

There's also the quietly brilliant sounding Armonics that are the musical weapon-instruments that Dragoneers use while conjuring their Rune Songs. Certain characters may even perform the song in a special costume!

Those that pre-order the game will receive the Shining Resonance Refrain: Draconic Launch Edition, that will see the game safely protected in a collectible metal slip case adorned with character artwork of Excella, Sonia, and Kirika.

Originally released in Japan in 2014 as Shining Resonance, the game is a traditional JRPG that plays similarly to the Tales series.

Yuma, AKA Shining Dragon Irvan, who can transform into this mythical beast and unleash power that he conducts through his sword. This makes him a target of the Empire, and so he is drawn into a conflict between the Empire and the land of Astoria via an encounter with their princess, Sonya.
