LeBron James on new Playoff seeding format: "Let's not get too crazy"

LeBron James on new Playoff seeding format: LeBron James on new Playoff seeding format: "Let's not get too crazy"

This year, the NBA All-Stars got comfortable with that process. His next one, at least according to his playing peers, should be much less notable. Clarkson, Nance and Hood are all 25, and George is a versatile facilitator who's had years of deep playoff experience - primarily from his time in IN facing James' Miami Heat teams in the postseason.

James also revealed on what order he picked his team - a matter that has been highly debated - saying: "I took Kevin first, then I took Anthony Davis, and I followed that with Kyrie and DeMarcus".

The new format of the NBA All-Star game made for a much more competitive game than its 66- year history would have implied. "We want to be very good defensively". And that's what you hope for. People killed James Harden for having a bad series a year ago. but you going to say somebody who quit in the Finals, [at] the end of everything, when all the marbles are on the table, that he's the greatest of all time? "Four new guys that's in a top-eight, top-nine rotation".

Cavaliers Why LeBron would pick Cleveland I'm not sure if you're aware of this - it hasn't been covered much during his 15 years in the National Basketball Association - but LeBron James is from Northeast Ohio, which is where Cleveland happens to be located. LA's "other" squad has made the playoffs each of the past seven seasons (though that streak is in jeopardy this season), and just locked up Lou Williams to a reasonable contract extension.

That post-break stint starts with Thursday's home game against Washington before the Cavaliers travel to Memphis to face the Grizzlies on the second night of a back-to-back set.

Down one point, following a free throw by DeMar DeRozan, Kyrie Irving would again connect with James for the go-ahead layup.

The four-time league MVP wasn't for the change and stated the fact that six out of the 14 championships teams during the career have been from the East. I saw, before even Russ even passed to me, LeBron was going to circle to the rim and (he is) one of the best finishers at the rim. The team needs work on offensive rebounds per game (#28), blocks per game (#27) and steals per game (#24). During the NBA All-Star weekend in Los Angeles, James began talking about his aspirations to win his fourth championship.

But now due to the success of the trade, handing blowout losses to both OKC and Boston before the All-Star break, the additions of Clarkson and Nance may have swung James' decision back to Ohio.

When is Game Time?

Whether that's a good argument or not is in the eye of the beholder, but Finals record is always going to be something Jordan supporters lord over LeBron (and everyone else).

Question is, have the Cleveland Cavaliers figured it out?
