Little is known about the low-end Moto G6 Play. Ahead of the launch, renowned tipster Evan Blass also has revealed the codenames of the smartphones in a tweet.
A previous rumor had alleged that Motorola was going to bless the device with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of ROM, a 5.93-inch FHD+ display, a 16MP selfie shooter, and a 12MP + 5MP (1.4um) dual rear camera setup.
Additionally, the device to sport a 5.7 Inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels of screen resolution.
What's notable is that Motorola didn't launch the Play variant for its fifth-generation of Moto G smartphones. The standard Moto G6 is codenamed Blaine, while the Moto G6 Plus and G6 Play are codenamed Ashley and Teller respectively. Nothing more special about Moto G6 Plus will not add a USB - C port, fast charging, Android OS 8 Oreo module LTE.
The Moto G6 Play should retail for around £130 ($190). The Moto X4 (3GB RAM/ 32GB storage) variant is available for a discounted price of Rs. 18,999, down from its November 2017 launch price of Rs. 20,999, while the 4GB RAM variant can be bought for Rs. 20,999, down from a price of Rs. 22,999 at launch. As you know, all the new smartphones feature dual cameras, the new G6 series phones will also come with a dual cameras. As the expected release date draws closer, more details of the phones are beginning to show up online. It's a bit surprising to see a slightly older processor on this smartphone.
Each Moto G6 Plus case features a different design, one that focuses on silicone and another that employs a seemingly stitched leather pad and the "V" logo that is usually associated with HualuBro's products.
