A 6-2 run by Sacramento cut the lead to seven later in the quarter before Harden made a 3-pointer to make it 83-73 midway through the period. The Kings scored the next five points, with a three-pointer from Garrett Temple, to cut it to six again with 30 seconds left.

These Rockets, who are 44-13 entering the All-Star break after winning 17 of their last 19 games, have much bigger goals ahead of them. Only the Warriors score more points per game (115.8) than the Rockets (114.1).

Cleveland 120, at Oklahoma City 112: LeBron James scored 37 points and the Cavaliers improved to 2-0 since shaking up their roster and got payback for a 24-point loss on January 20. New Orleans' Rajon Rondo and Los Angeles' Isaiah Thomas were ejected late in the first quarter after a brief altercation.

NEW YORK - Bradley Beal had 36 points and Washington overcame a 27-point deficit to beat New York.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 37 points - 32 in the first half - to lead the Knicks.

Paul suffered a minor hand injury that cost him time in the fourth quarter but it doesn't sound like a serious concern.

It was the largest deficit overcome for a victory in the National Basketball Association this season.
