By equipping one of four accessories - swords, bo staff, nunchakus or sais - players will be able to change their character loadout to play as Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo.
This new Injustice 2 trailer shows some phrases and fighting that we haven't seen before, but more importantly, shows us that indeed the Turtles work as one unit. In tournament modes where gear is disabled, the individual turtle will instead be assigned their own character slot.
It has been known for some time that the "Heroes In a Half-Shell" were going to be part of Injustice 2. Each character has their own movesets, character powers, and special moves. They're part of the game's "Fighter Pack 3" DLC or can be purchased for $9.99 Dollars. But come on, they're turtles.
The Ninja Turtles will be available for those who purchased Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or the game's Fight Pack 3 expansion on February 13. This nearly feels like a natural extension of the recent Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. But despite its predominantly DC roster, it's Injustice 2's alternate universe roster that is the most interesting.
