The beta will be available in Japan, North America, Europe and Asia (sorry South America, Africa and Australia I guess) and will include three missions that span across two maps, all playable in four-player co-op. Those who have already downloaded the client will only have to re-download a small update.

"METAL GEAR SURVIVE BETA" will be available for 3 days from February 16 to 18th, 2018 on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Steam.

Metal Gear Survive is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 20th.

PS4 and Xbox One players will not need to re-download if they still have the first beta installed on their console. Special daily missions will also be added in the beta. By participating in the beta, you will get access to several in-game bonuses. Upon finishing creating your character, participants in METAL GEAR SURVIVE BETA will receive an in-game bonus in the full game. Taking place between the events of Metal Gear V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, the remaining soldiers of the Militaires Sans Frontieres (Soldiers Without Borders) find themselves transported by a wormhole to an alternate reality infested with zombie-like creatures. Of course, it's safe to presume that there will be many devout Metal Gear fans who will maintain a hard stance against supporting Konami after its aforementioned high profile divorce from Kojima.

The save data will not be taken over to the full game.

Despite being the game's second beta testing, this is the first time that Metal Gear Survive is coming to PCs.
