Titusville fire officials rescued a boy from inside a claw machine Wednesday night, according to a Facebook post. Instead of paying to snatch it using the claw, Mason, who looked to be about 4 or 5, climbed up into the machine.
A young boy in Florida got more than he bargained for when he became trapped in an arcade machine during his quest for a stuffed toy.
Apparently seeing no reason to wrestle with the contraption to get one of the stuffed toys inside, the boy reportedly climbed in through the back and couldn't get out.
Luckily, an off-duty fire fighter was dining in the same restaurant, and was able to call on help to remove Mason.
An off duty firefighter happened to be at the restaurant, and instructed someone to call 911 while he assessed the situation.
Though the machine had to be pried open, damage was minor.
"He came out with some toys", Sutton told Florida Today.
"He went from thinking, "I'm going to get this toy" to 'Uh oh I'm stuck in here, ' to 'Now all these people are looking at me and banging on this thing, "' Sutton said. "He did end up with what he was after".
